Last Summer we had the pleasure of working with Amy and Sarah, her Mother, as they planned the flowers for Amy and Harry’s August wedding in a marquee on a farm. Sarah wished to arrange all the venue flowers herself but they asked us to make up the Bridal Party flowers. The brief was to use flowers which would fit in with the rustic setting of the wedding and to create arrangements which looked as if they had just been picked from the surrounding countryside. One additional request was that the buttonholes should include feathers from Amy and Harry’s chickens! We are happy to accommodate all requests here at Bridal Flowers Direct!
The stunning photographs taken by Sarah Wenban Photography highlight how beautifully all the flowers tied in with the setting and theme of the wedding and we hope they will inspire those of you who are planning a similar style wedding.
Following the wedding we received this lovely email from Sarah –
Hi Sally and Clare,
We really should have got back to you earlier but just to say we had the most amazing day in August. Amy and I thought you might like some pictures to show how fabulous your flowers were. We had a lovely day with a perfect setting and great weather.
Thank you so much for all your help and advice – it really helped to create the impression of ‘one of those weddings in a magazine’ as one of our guests stated!!
Thanks again,
Sarah
